On Thursday evening the 22nd of September, Josh Byrne will be delivering a Sustainable Gardening seminar at the Margaret River Cultural centre hosted by the Curtin University Sustainable Policy Institute (CUSP) and Transition Margaret River.

Following on from the success of last year’s presentation on Sustainable Living – Josh’s House & Margaret River Buildings, this year Josh will be teaming up with Permaculture Consultant PB Foreman and Cape to Cape Catchment Group Chair Dr. Boyd Wykes. PB Forman’s  presentation topic is titled ‘From Household Waste to a Fertile Garden’, and Dr. Wykes will be delivering a presentation titled ‘Gardens for Birds’.

Using Josh’s House as one of the case studies, Josh’s Sustainable Gardening Presentation will include such topics as energy efficiency, materials impact, habitat creation, organic waste management, growing food and water management.
